Start of Rangers-Twins game delayed by rain

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins and Rangers have been delayed due to weather on Saturday at Target Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:55 p.m. CT.

This marks as the fifth rain delay at Target Field this season. The most recent delay was a 4-hour, 50-minute delay on June 22, which set the ballpark's record for longest rain delay. Texas left-hander Cole Hamels (5-1, 4.01) is slated to go opposite Minnesota right-hander Kyle Gibson (6-8, 6.08 ERA) for the third game of a four-game set.
