D-backs Recall Jack Reinheimer; Silvino Bracho Optioned

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled INF Jack Reinheimer (@Reinheimer_08) from Triple-A Reno and optioned RHP Silvino Bracho to Reno. Additionally, the D-backs announced that RHP David Hernandez and INF Adam Rosales have reported to the team and will be active for tonight's game.

Reinheimer, who turned 25 on July 19, will wear No. 76 and has no prior Major League experience. He hit .283 (106-for-374) with 14 doubles, 4 home runs, 44 RBI and 70 runs scored in 101 games with the Aces this season. In the last 9 games before the promotion, he batted .390 (16-for-41) with 11 runs scored and an .873 OPS.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is a career .279 hitter (592-for-2,125) with 94 doubles, 18 triples, 16 home runs and 222 RBI in 552 games over 5 Minor League seasons in the Seattle Mariners (2013-15) and D-backs' organizations (2015-). Reinheimer was selected by the Mariners in the fifth round in the 2013 draft, and traded to the D-backs with C Welington Castillo, RHP Dominic Leone and OF Gabriel Guerrero on June 3, 2015 for OF Mark Trumbo and LHP Vidal Nuño.

Bracho, 25, has appeared in 10 games over 6 stints with the D-backs this season, posting a 5.23 ERA (6 ER in 10.1 IP). In his last 7 games, he has allowed just 1 run on 4 hits in 8.0 innings.

Hernandez, 32, has gone 1-0 with 1 save, a 2.23 ERA (9 ER in 36.1 IP), 37 strikeouts, 8 walks and no home runs allowed in 38 appearances this season with the Angels, including a 1.14 ERA (3 ER in 23.2 IP) over his last 22 games. He was acquired from the Los Angeles Angels yesterday for RHP Luis Madero.

Rosales, 34, who has a .809 OPS vs. left-handed pitching in the last 2 years, was acquired from the Oakland A's yesterday for RHP Jeferson Mejia. Rosales is hitting .300 (15-for-50) with runners in scoring position in 2017, including 8 hits over his last 21 opportunities (.381). Overall this season, he is batting .234 (48-for-205) with 11 doubles, 4 home runs and 27 RBI in 71 games.
