More Biscuits in Rays' diet

|
ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays and the Montgomery Biscuits are expected to announce an agreement on a two-year extension calling for the Biscuits to remain as the Rays' Double-A affiliate through the 2010 season.

Montgomery has been the Rays' Double-A affiliate since 2004, when the Orlando Rays relocated prior to the '04 season.

The Biscuits have won Southern League championships the past two seasons, a feat which had not been accomplished in the Southern League since the Montgomery Rebels won three consecutive titles from 1975-77.
