Blue Jays at the plate: Leadoff center fielder Buck Coats was 2-for-4 with two singles. Adam Lind knocked an RBI double as part of Toronto's two-run third. Hector Luna was 1-for-2.

Astros at the plate: Lance Berkman launched a solo homer to straightaway center in the first frame. Berkman led off the eighth with a double, capping a 3-for-4 day. He also rapped a triple in the third and scored on Carlos Lee's sacrifice fly. Brad Ausmus was 2-for-3 with two singles.

Blue Jays on the mound: Starter Roy Halladay allowed three runs on six hits over four innings, walking none while striking out five. He threw 68 pitches, 48 for strikes. Right-hander Brandon League allowed one run on two hits over two frames.

Astros on the mound: Starter Roy Oswalt yielded three runs on six hits over four frames, walking none and striking out three. He threw 70 pitches, 46 for strikes. Oscar Villarreal pitched two scoreless frames, striking out two.

Grapefruit League records: Blue Jays 4-8; Astros 6-8.

Up next: The Blue Jays will travel to Tampa to play the Yankees on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. ET. Left-hander Gustavo Chacin will take the mound for the Jays, who will face New York righty Chien-Ming Wang.

The Astros will make the long drive to Sarasota for a rare spring game with National League Central rival Cincinnati. Several players sidelined with various ailments, including Michael Bourn and Kazuo Matsui, are expected to be available to take the trip. Right-handers Brandon Backe and Chris Sampson are slated to pitch in the 12:05 p.m. CT start for Houston, while the Reds will send Aaron Harang to the mound.
