Rockies at the plate:
The Rockies were blanked for four innings before Matt Kata laced an RBI double off the right-field wall in the fifth, cutting the Sox lead in half. Yorvit Torrealba was 2-for-3 at the plate, singling and scoring on Kata's double, then hitting an RBI single in the sixth to tie the game.
White Sox at the plate:
Jermaine Dye launched his first Cactus League round-tripper in the third, a two-out solo shot over the left-field fence. Alexei Ramirez was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, including a tiebreaking RBI in the seventh. The Sox added insurance runs in the ninth when Brad Eldred led off with a triple and Brian Anderson homered to left.
Rockies on the mound:
Franklin Morales pitched three solid innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out one. Brian Fuentes and Micah Bowie pitched a pair of 1-2-3 innings in relief, with Fuentes striking out one.
White Sox on the mound:
Mark Buehrle continued his scoreless tour through the Cactus League, efficiently pitching through the fourth, yielding a hit and a run and striking out one. Octavio Dotel had an uneven inning of relief, striking out two but giving up a run on two hits.

The Rockies' southpaw Mark Redman will climb the hill in Peoria on Thursday to take on the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, Jake Peavy, at 1:05 p.m. MT.
The White Sox host the Rangers, sending Gavin Floyd to toe the rubber against Texas' Vicente Padilla at 12:05 CT.
The Rockies and White Sox will also play a "B" game at Hi Corbett Field at 10 a.m. MT, pitting Colorado's Jeff Francis against fellow-left-hander Andrew Sisco.
