2017 Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play Set

The 2017 Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play Game Show Spectacular will take place this Sunday evening, May 14 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. The event is a complete sellout.

Proceeds of the event benefit the programs and projects of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, which includes funding for the completion of the new Texas Rangers Major League Baseball Youth Academy at Mercy Street project presented by Toyota in West Dallas.

The theme for the 2017 event is "One Enchanted Evening" As always, Triple Play features live and silent auctions and attendance by the Texas Rangers players, coaches, broadcasters, and alumni.

The highlight of the evening is the Rangers players competing against each other in a pair of game shows. This year's competitions will be the annual fan favorite Fielders Feud and the Match Game. The tentative list of participants for each game (subject to change):

Fielders Feud:
Infielders: Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Mike Napoli, Rougned Odor
Outfielders: Shin-Soo Choo, Delino DeShields, Carlos Gomez, Nomar Mazara

Match Game:
Contestant #1: Jonathan Lucroy with his panel of Matt Bush, Andrew Cashner, Sam Dyson
Contestant #2: A.J. Griffin with his panel of Tony Barnette, Robinson Chirinos, and Ryan Rua

Among the items available for bidding in the fabulous live and silent auctions are a VIP Rangers' spring training trip to Arizona, a trip to see the Rangers play in Chicago, private hitting and pitching lessons with current Rangers, and many other exclusive Rangers experiences.

The event begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner, the program, and the game shows. Emily Jones and John Rhadigan of FOX Sports Southwest will serve as the MC's for the evening.

Park Place Dealerships is the title presenter of Triple Play, with other sponsors including FOX Sports Southwest, CBS11, TXA21, and 105.3 The FAN.
