MILWAUKEE - Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) Week at Miller Park begins Tuesday, May 9, as the Brewers begin the third homestand of the season. Returning for its eighth year, BCF Week features activities at each game through May 14 to support the Foundation's charitable impact in the community.
Brewers Community Foundation harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin. BCF Week and the BCF Week "Ultimate Auction" highlight this initiative, and are presented by the 2017 Leadership Council, which is comprised of BMO Harris Bank, Delta Dental, West Bend Mutual, Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls Inc., Lubar & Co., MillerCoors, Northwestern Mutual and We Energies.
The "Ultimate Auction," began this morning and continues through May 14 at 9:00 p.m. CT. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind memorabilia items and unique experiences. Packages include a Miller Park roof tour, a 30 minute pitching clinic with Pitching Coach Derek Johnson, a trip to the 2018 Brewers fantasy camp and much more. To participate in the Ultimate Auction, visit brewers.com/BCFauction.
Brewers Community Foundation Week also features daily activities hosted by the Foundation on the third base side of the Field Level concourse. Proceeds will be directed to supporting quality programming in the areas of health, education, recreation and basic needs here in our community. Beyond the fan-favorite Plinko game, activities will include:
May 9: Jacket and Jersey Sale - Don't miss the opportunity to purchase team-issued Brewers jackets from previous seasons. Additionally, signed and game-worn jerseys from Brewers players and coaches will be available.
May 10: Mascots Night - Stop by the BCF Week area to take pictures with your favorite Brewers mascots throughout the game, including Bernie Brewer, the Klement's Famous Racing Sausages and Barrelman. Mascot-themed items will be on sale for fans to purchase.
May 11: Brew-Light Special - Stuff your closets with Brewers hats, T-shirts and more as the team takes on the Red Sox. Items will be available for as little as $5.
May 12: Bobble Bonanza - Fans can take home a Brewers Bobblehead to complete their collection during "Bobble Bonanza." Collectible Bobbleheads will be available for purchase for as little as $5 apiece until inventory sells out.
May 13: Blind Baseball Grab - For just $25 fans of all ages can don a blindfold and randomly choose from an assortment of signed baseballs from Brewers alumni. At least one Hank Aaron autographed ball will be up for grabs.
May 14: Treasure Hunt - BCF closes out the week by selling game-used, autographed Brewers items from previous seasons at a special "treasure hunt" sale at the Brewers Community Foundation table located on the Field Level concourse. Items include bats, baseballs, jerseys and more.
