The Padres Estrellas program presented by Arco returns in 2017, continuing its partnership with local school districts and non-profits to support the effort to reduce high school dropout rates and improve health and fitness behaviors within the Hispanic youth population. Prior to Tuesday's game, three students from the South Bay YMCA and three from Sweetwater High School will be treated to tickets to the game and have the opportunity to watch batting practice from the field before taking a tour of the Jerry Coleman Broadcast Center.
Taco Tuesday presented by Cholula Hot Sauce is back and improved in 2017. New this season, every Tuesday home game features Petco Park's favorite tacos at a special price. For only $2.50, fans can choose from a variety of taco options at Carnitas' Snack Shack, Wonderland Ocean Pub, Lucha Libre, Miguel's, Seaside Market, Rimel's and Brigantine.
As part of their "Going to Bat for San Diego" partnership, representatives from SDG&E and the Padres will present a check to the American Red Cross in the amount of $125,000 prior to Tuesday's game.

Thursday will serve as Weather Education Day. In partnership with CBS News 8, approximately 2,600 local students will be treated to a weather education program at the Park at the Park stage hosted by CBS News 8 meteorologist, Matt Baylow. Following the program, students will be able to participate in a Q&A session with a Padres player.

California Highway Patrol Assistant Chief Deb Schroder will ring the Ceremonial Game Bell to get the pregame ceremonies started.
CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire Chief Tony Mecham will throw the night's Ceremonial First Pitch.
A flyover will be conducted by San Diego Police Department and San Diego Sheriff's helicopters.
More than 70 First Responders from different agencies including the San Diego Police Department, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, San Diego Sheriff's Department, CHP Border Division, U.S. Border Patrol, CAL-Fire, San Diego Probation Department and the D.E.A. will line the baselines during the pregame ceremony.
The first 5,000 kids in attendance on Friday will receive a kids fire helmet presented by The Hartford Insurance in recognition of the 70-year anniversary of their Junior Fire Marshall program.
Friday night will feature a special Cinco de Mayo-themed Party in the Park presented by Southwest Airlines. Elements include:

Performances by Mariachi Miztli of Sweetwater High School, winners of the annual National City Mariachi Festival competition.

Nurse Appreciation Weekend presented by Sharp Mary Birch begins on Friday. Fans who purchase a special Nurse Appreciation Weekend ticket package will receive a limited-edition Padres-themed retractable badge holder. Also, prior to Friday night's game, nurses in attendance will participate in a warning track salute during the pregame ceremonies.

100-year-old Colonel James "Rip" Harper, USMC (Ret.) will perform Sunday's National Anthem. US Navy Veteran, and SDSU Military & Veterans Services representative, Fatima Peyton will sing God Bless America during the 7th inning break.
After making its return in 2016, Domingos Padres continues on select Sundays during the 2017 season. The first Domingos Padres of the season, a celebration of Venezuela, will feature:

Venezuelan Padres players will be signing autographs as part of Compadres Kids Sunday Signings from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Compadres Kids membership is required to participate. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online or in-person on the day of the event.
As part of Little League Day on Sunday, thousands of local little leaguers will participate in a pregame parade around the warning track.

Eight stroke survivors will be recognized during the pregame ceremony as part of Sunday's Strike Out Stroke initiative.
