Yankees to host 115th home opener in franchise history on Monday, April 10

Joe Torre, Tino Martinez and Willie Randolph to throw out ceremonial first pitches

The New York Yankees will play their first home game of the 2017 season on Monday, April 10, vs. the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 p.m. All Yankee Stadium gates will open to Guests with valid tickets beginning at 11:00 a.m. with ceremonies slated to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. with the introduction of both teams on the baselines.
 
As part of the festivities, Joe Torre, Tino Martinez and Willie Randolph will throw out the ceremonial first pitches in recognition of Team USA's championship run in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Current Yankees pitcher and member of the Team USA's victorious WBC squad, Tyler Clippard, is also scheduled to take part in the celebration.
 
In addition, Mamie Parris - currently playing the role of "Grizabella" on the Broadway show Cats - will perform the national anthem and a giant American flag will be unfurled by 75 West Point Cadets. The West Point Color Guard will present the colors.
 
During the seventh-inning stretch, Doreen Montalvo, who stars as "Gloria Fajardo" on the Broadway show On Your Feet, will perform "God Bless America."
 
All Guests in attendance will also receive a Yankees magnetic schedule courtesy of AT&T.
 
Following the home opener, the Yankees will continue their homestand with two additional games vs. the Rays (Wednesday-Thursday, April 12-13), a three-game series vs. St. Louis in the first ever visit by the Cardinals to the current Yankee Stadium (Friday-Sunday, April 14-16) and a three-game series vs. the Chicago White Sox (Monday-Wednesday, April 17-19). 
 
Ticket specials will run on Wednesday, April 12 (MasterCard $5/Military Personnel/Senior Citizen/Student/Youth Game), Thursday, April 13 (Military Personnel Game), Saturday, April 15 (Youth Game), Sunday, April 16 (Youth Game), Monday, April 17 (Military Personnel Game), Tuesday, April 18 (MasterCard $5/Military Personnel/Senior Citizen/Youth Game) and Wednesday, April 19 (Military Personnel/Student Game).
 
In a continuing effort to provide Yankees fans with an increased number of value-price single-game ticket options, the Yankees have introduced two new offers: the Pinstripe Pass ticket (starting at $15 for select games) and a Grandstand Level ticket (starting at $10). Additionally, for every 2017 regular season home game, the Yankees will offer $10 Grandstand Tickets in select Grandstand locations. Quantities available will vary for each game.
 
With the introduction of these two new single-game ticket offers, an additional 200,000 single-game tickets priced at $15-or-less will be made available to fans for the 2017 regular season.
