The Phillies' Raul Ibanez wrapped up his first half with a National League Player of the Week award.
The 39-year-old outfielder hit .310 (9-for-29) in six games last week, homering three times and driving in a Major League-best 13 runs. He also doubled and scored six runs.
Ibanez, 39, also mixed in the dramatic: his solo homer in the bottom of the 10th inning on Friday gave Philadelphia a 3-2 win over the Braves at Citizens Bank Park.
Hitting .241 with 12 homers this season, Ibanez has won the weekly award five times, most recently in April 2009.
