As in previous seasons, the Twins will apply variable pricing to all tickets for the 2017 season. Per-game prices for both single-game and season tickets will be based on factors such as time of year, date and opponent. The five-tier variable pricing structure will apply to all single-game tickets sold on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Beginning Sunday, Feb. 26, the Twins will apply demand-based pricing to all seating sections of Target Field for the 2017 season. Demand-based pricing, which prices tickets according to fan demand, is a practice that has become standard across the sports and entertainment industries. The system, which was implemented at Target Field in 2011, applies only to single-game ticket sales and does not affect Season Ticket Holder pricing.
The Twins begin their Opening Series at Target Field with three games against the Kansas City Royals (April 3, 5 and 6). The home interleague schedule includes a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies (May 16-18), a two-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers (August 7-8), a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks (August 18-20), and a two-game series against the San Diego Padres (September 12-13).
