Live Spring Training games on MLB Network begin this Friday, February 24

Schedule features more than 180 games in 37 days

MLB Network today announced its comprehensive 2017 Spring Training game schedule, featuring more than 180 games in 37 days beginning with the Philadelphia Phillies visiting the New York Yankees this Friday, February 24, live at 1:00 p.m. ET. The start of the Spring Training game schedule leads up to MLB Network's exclusive English-language coverage of the 2017 World Baseball Classic in the United States presented by GEICO®, which begins on Monday, March 6. MLB Network's Matt Vasgersian, Hall of Famer John Smoltz and Jon Morosi will call First Round matchups in Miami, including every Team USA game, as well as the entire Second Round from San Diego's Petco Park and the Championship Round from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. MLB Network's Joe Magrane and Paul Severino, plus longtime MLB broadcasters Buck Martinez (Toronto Blue Jays; 2006 Team USA manager), José Mota (Los Angeles Angels), Gary Thorne (Baltimore Orioles) and Rich Waltz (Miami Marlins) are among the group of announcers scheduled to call the tournament, produced by MLB Network in the United States and by MLB International abroad.
