Romero, 22, spent four seasons in Cuba's Serie Nacional, going 9-7 with nine saves and a 4.80 ERA in 46 games (10 starts). He was 7-2 with eight saves and a 3.31 ERA in 20 appearances in 2015, his final season there.
The right-handed-hitting Pantojas, 20, batted .304 and got on base at a .429 clip in 19 games for Santiago de Cuba in 2015 at the age of 18.
