White Sox announce 2017 Spring Training broadcast schedule

Spring Training games to be featured on television, radio and whitesox.com

The Chicago White Sox, CSN, WGN-TV and WLS-AM 890 have announced the team's 2017 spring training television, radio and internet broadcast schedule.
 
The White Sox will have 10 Cactus League games televised from Arizona (nine on CSN; one on WGN), and 12 additional webcasts on whitesox.com. WLS-AM, the club's flagship radio station, will air 15 games.
 
The Sox will present full webcasts of 12 spring training games on whitesox.com, which are available free to all fans. The spring training webcasts begin Saturday, February 25 at 2:05 p.m. CST when the White Sox open the Cactus League schedule at the Los Angeles Dodgers. Russ Langer returns for his seventh spring as the play-by-play voice for all webcasts.
 
The first televised spring training game is on WGN on Sunday, March 12 at 2:05 p.m. CDT when the White Sox play host to Texas at Camelback Ranch - Glendale. CSN will televise the first of its nine spring games on Tuesday, March 14 at Seattle at 3:10 p.m. CDT. CSN's first home broadcast will be on Friday, March 17 vs. the Cubs with first pitch scheduled for 2:05 p.m. CDT.
 
Jason Benetti and Steve Stone will work all 10 television games in their second spring training together as the White Sox broadcast team. Benetti is set to begin his second season with the Sox, while Stone enters his 10th year with the club.
 
WLS-AM broadcasts the first of its 15 games with the White Sox spring opener on February 25 at the Dodgers. WLS-AM features the on-air tandem of Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson. Farmer is entering his 26th season in the radio booth, while Jackson will begin his 18th year as a Sox broadcaster.
