St. Elizabeth Healthcare & Reds To Donate Equipment

To Benefit 10 Teams From 5 NKY High Schools

       High school athletic directors, baseball and softball head coaches, and student-athletes from Bellevue H.S., Covington Holmes H.S., Dayton H.S., Holy Cross H.S. and Newport H.S.

WHAT: St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the Reds Community Fund will distribute $15,000 worth of baseball and softball equipment to 10 teams from five Northern Kentucky high schools: Bellevue, Covington Holmes, Dayton, Holy Cross and Newport. 

The partnership between St. Elizabeth and the Reds is designed to help baseball and softball programs within the urban core of Northern Kentucky prepare for the upcoming 2017 season. Athletic directors, head coaches and student-athletes from 10 teams will be on-site to receive the equipment donation.

St. Elizabeth matched a $7,500 contribution from the Reds Community Fund to support the schools and team. Nonprofit partner Pitch In For Baseball is coordinating the distribution of the $15,000 worth of equipment.
Pitch In For Baseball is a nonprofit organization and industry leader in collecting and repurposing baseball and softball equipment.
