Current Crew, alumni due at Brewers' fanfest

MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers on Friday released additional details about their Jan. 29 fanfest in downtown Milwaukee, including schedules for autographs and events on the main stage.

More than 60 current players, alumni, coaches, front-office executives and broadcasters are scheduled to participate in Brewers On Deck, which features autograph and photo opportunities, game shows and Q&As, merchandise and historical displays and a number of interactive activities for kids.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $9 for children 14 and under, and they are available at Brewers.com/OnDeck through Jan. 27 at noon CT. Tickets on the day of the event are $20 for adults and $15 for children 14 and under.

The day revolves around events on the Klement's Main Stage, beginning with a welcome at 10:15 a.m. CT that includes COO Rick Schlesinger unveiling the winner of the Free-Shirt Friday Design Contest, and a question and answer session with top prospects.

Other main stage events:

11:30 a.m., Brewers faceoff: Brewers "rising stars" and alumni will participate in a game show similar to Family Feud.

1:00 p.m., Meet the management: Brewers owner Mark Attanasio, assistant GM Matt Arnold and manager Craig Counsell will participate in a question and answer session with fans.

2:00 p.m., Brewers Jeopardy: Three Brewers players will test their knowledge in a version of the popular trivia game show.

3:30 p.m., Milwaukee Match: Three fans will give it their best as they attempt to match a phrase with a ring of Brewers players and broadcasters in this take on the classic game show, Match Game.

The Brewers Interactive Stage will feature kids-only question and answer sessions and a roundtable discussion with members of the Milwaukee media who cover the team on a regular basis. The Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) will host a Treasure Hunt sale featuring some hard-to-find Brewers items as well as a live auction (at noon CT) on the Interactive Stage. Additionally, the BCF will hold a 50/50 Raffle. The winner will be announced at the interactive stage following the BCF auction.

Children are invited to visit the "farm teams infield" for free batting and hitting clinics scheduled throughout the day with Brewers alumni and current players. Kids can also run around the field or play games with Brewers players in the Fan Cave.

Photo sessions with players are also scheduled throughout the day in designated photo areas. The Brewers Team Store by Majestic will have a full setup with the latest Brewers merchandise for sale, and a Brewers Museum will feature memorable artifacts from throughout the history of the team.

The autograph procedure has been simplified from previous On Decks. Autographs this year will be available on a first come, first served basis, either free, $10, or $25, with proceeds benefitting the Brewers Community Foundation. See Brewers.com/OnDeck for the most up to date schedule.
