Rodgers, 26, made his Major League debut last season, in what was a breakout year for the 2012 third-round draft pick. He was named the Astros Minor League Pitcher of the Year and the Triple A Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year, after he went 12-4 with a 2.86 ERA (42ER/132IP), 23 walks, 116 strikeouts, two complete games and one shutout in 22 starts at Triple A Fresno. He led all Pacific Coast League pitchers in ERA while ranking second in walks-per-9.0 innings ratio (1.57), second in strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.04), fourth in WHIP (1.15) and tied for fourth in wins. Rodgers made his Major League debut on Sept. 3 at TEX, and went on to make four more appearances with one start, which was the final game of the regular season.

Ford enters his fifth season as the Astros radio play-by-play commentator after being named to the post prior to the 2013 season. Before joining the Astros, Ford spent four seasons as the pre-and postgame host for the Kansas City Royals radio broadcasts on 610 AM KCSP, the Royals flagship station. The 2001 graduate of Syracuse University spent seven years broadcasting minor league baseball, calling more than 800 games during his stints with the Binghamton Mets, Kalamazoo Kings and Yakima Bears. Ford was twice named Frontier League Broadcaster of the Year (2003, 2004).
