Dodgers sign Nuno to 1-year deal

The Dodgers and left-hander Vidal Nuno have agreed to a one-year contract to avoid arbitration.

According to MLB Network insider Jon Heyman, the deal is worth $1.125 million.

The 29-year-old Nuno was acquired in November from Seattle in exchange for catcher Carlos Ruiz. Nuno posted a 3.53 ERA in 55 appearances (one start) in 2016 for the Mariners.

Nuno has a 4.02 ERA in 126 games (42 starts) in four Major League seasons with the Yankees, D-backs and Mariners.
