Astros to Host Homeplate for the Holidays This Saturday, Dec. 3

Holiday event to take place at Minute Maid Park from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.

This Saturday, Dec. 3, the Houston Astros will be hosting the first Homeplate for the Holidays event at Minute Maid Park from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. The holiday event is free and open to the public with an event voucher, which were available online but have recently sold-out. However, a limited number of event vouchers will be available for fans to claim at the door on Saturday.

 

For the first time in several years, Astros fans will now have the unique opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for the Astros 2017 season before the end of 2016! Single-game tickets to select 2017 Astros home games, which make great stocking stuffers, will be available for purchase at Homeplate for the Holidays, along with 2017 Season Tickets and a Union Station Team Store Blowout Sale, with up to 70% off of select merchandise. Other special holiday gifts for Astros fans of all ages, including Coca-Cola Buddies Club memberships, Commemorative Bricks and Outfield Manual Scoreboard Holiday Photos, will also be available for purchase.

 

Additionally, Homeplate for the Holidays will feature photo opportunities with "Orbit Claus," ornament crafting, holiday story time with the Astros Coca-Cola Shooting Stars, Christmas beers sold at the Saint Arnold Bar, carolers, holiday lights, "snow," and much more for families and fans of all ages.

 

Parking is free in any of the Astros-owned parking lots. Fans can access the event through the Union Station Lobby entrance on Crawford Street or the Atrium entrance on Texas Avenue.

 

Media availability will take place from 3:00-3:30 p.m. in Union Station Lobby.
