Known as "Grandpa Rossy" to his teammates, Ross was the last player introduced on stage.
"Chicago!" Ross shouted to the crowd. "Look what the boys got me!"
And he pointed to the Commissioner's Trophy.
Ross then thanked his family, his parents and his teammates for a wild ride in his final big league season.
"How about a quick selfie?" Ross said. "Everybody, hands up."
Teammates Dexter Fowler, Hector Rondon, Justin Grimm, Willson Contreras, Travis Wood, Kris Bryant and Miguel Montero joined Ross and the thousands of fans in the background of the photo. Ross then posted it on Twitter.
"Love you, Chicago, thank you," Ross said. "Thank you, fans."
