Phillies searching for 2017 ballgirls

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies are looking for ballgirls for the 2017 season.

Interested women have until Oct. 17 to apply.

The Phillies said qualified candidates will represent the organization throughout the community as well as perform their duties on the field. The ballgirls make more than 150 off-field appearances, including TV and radio as well as school and nursing home visits, golf and bowling tournaments and fashion shows. They also participate in softball games with a charity element.

To apply, candidates must sent a resume and two-minute video (DVD, YouTube, etc.) demonstrating softball skills and explaining why they would make a good ballgirl to ballgirls@phillies.com or as a hardcopy to Ballgirl Applicant, Phillies, Citizens Bank Park, One Citizens Bank Way, Philadelphia, PA 19148.
