Seattle Mariners homestand highlights

The Seattle Mariners begin their final homestand of the regular season with a four-game series against the Oakland Athletics. Highlights include Fan Appreciation Night, Oktoberfest and Kids Appreciation Day.

  • Thursday, September 29 - Seattle Mayor Ed Murray with Amina Saleh, Seattle firefighter and volunteer instructor at Camp Blaze, who mentors girls interested in careers in fire service.

Thursday, September 29 vs. Oakland Athletics

  • Seattle Mayor Ed Murray will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
  • Grand Slam Family Package Night, Presented By Safeco Insurance. Ticket, hot dog and Pepsi at a special package-value price. Available in Main, Terrace Club and View Levels. Purchase between 4 and 12 tickets to receive the discount. Each ticket includes $8 in TicketPlu$ credit good for a hot dog and Pepsi.

Friday, September 30 vs. Oakland

  • Fan Appreciation Night - The Seattle Mariners tip our cap to the best fans in baseball with team posters for all and drawings for dozens of prizes throughout the game. We'll also present the 7th Annual Fan of the Year Awards and recognize the ROOT SPORTS Ultimate Northwest Fans from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.   • Back to School Night - The Mariners help ring in the new school year with a special online only ticket offer of $12 for View Level seats (normally $25). Deadline to purchase these tickets is Thursday, September 29 at 5:00 p.m., available only at Mariners.com/School.

Saturday, October 1 vs. Oakland (6:10 p.m. start)

  • Oktoberfest - Break out the lederhosen and dirndl for the 8th Annual Oktoberfest at Safeco Field. Specially priced tickets come with a True to the Brew beer stein, a drink voucher, and a pregame party at the Patio at the 'Pen, which will feature live music and dancing up until first pitch. Tickets are $30 for View Level and $50 for Main Level, and are available online only at Mariners.com/Oktoberfest. Deadline to purchase tickets for this special offer is Friday, September 30 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Seattle Mariners Minor League Awards - Outstanding players and staff members from the Seattle Mariners minor league system will be honored during a pregame ceremony. Awards to be presented include the Ken Griffey Jr. Minor League Hitter of the Year, the Jamie Moyer Minor League Pitcher of the Year, the Edgar Martinez Productive Team Plate Appearance Award, the Alvin Davis "Mr. Mariner" Award, the Dan Wilson Community Service Player of the Year, and the Dave Henderson Minor League Staff Member of the Year Award.
  • Mariners Care Silent Auction of autographed memorabilia on the Main Level behind Section 128. Bidding is through the 6th inning.
  • Season ticket holder early gate opening - 3:10 p.m. Right Field Gate.

Sunday, October 2 vs. Oakland (12:10 p.m. start)

  • The final game of the regular season has a special 12:10 p.m. first pitch as all Major League Baseball games begin at the same time.
  • Kids Appreciation Day - The Mariners say thanks to our youngest fans with the annual Kids Appreciation Day, sponsored by Ivar's & Kidd Valley. All kids, 14 and younger, will get a free poster and Moose bank, courtesy of KeyBank. More information about the special Kids Appreciation Day activities and prizes is available at Mariners.com/Fans.
  • Kids Club Ticket Special - Junior Mariners Kids Club members, family and friends can purchase specially priced tickets for $15 for View Level and $35 for Main Level. This online only offer is available at Mariners.com/KidsClub16.
  • Due to a conflict with the Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets game, the Mariners game will be carried on AM 770.
