DODGERS ANNOUNCE VIN SCULLY COMMEMORATIVE EDITION OF DODGER INSIDER MAGAZINE

LOS ANGELES--The Dodgers announced today that the first 50,000 fans in attendance Sunday, September 25 (1:10 p.m. vs. Rockies) will receive a special commemorative edition of Dodger Insider magazine celebrating the life and career of Vin Scully.

This unique edition of Dodger Insider, the official magazine of the Dodgers, will be available on Fan Appreciation Day - the final home game of Scully's unparalleled career and the culmination of Vin Scully Weekend.

In addition to the usual prize drawings for those in attendance, Fan Appreciation Day will feature tributes to Scully throughout the day as part of Vin Scully Weekend.

Scully is in his 67th and final season in the broadcast booth for the Dodgers. The Hall of Famer's 67 years of consecutive service with the Dodger organization is the longest of any sports broadcaster with one team.

The September 25 edition comes with the special commemorative cover and will be distributed at the ticket gates to incoming fans.

Stories inside the magazine include a history of Scully's career, a celebration of his unique storytelling , numerous tributes from those who knew him best (from Carl Erskine to Jaime Jarrín), a feature on his wife Sandi, countless classic photos and more.

Vin Scully Weekend kicks off with Vin Scully Appreciation Day on Friday, September 23 (7:10 p.m. vs. Rockies), which will include an on-field ceremony with very special guests, opportunities for fans to thank and pay tribute to Scully, the unveiling of the top two Vin Scully calls of all time (as chosen by fan vote), and Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's set to the top calls of Scully's one-of-a-kind career.

On Saturday, September 24 (6:10 p.m. vs. Rockies), the first 50,000 fans in attendance will receive the Vin Scully Limited Edition Commemorative Coin, minted with an image of Scully with his signature greeting quote on the front and the Dodgers' established date on the back.

For Vin Scully Weekend, auto gates and stadium gates will open 30 minutes earlier than usual each day (4:40 p.m. September 23, 3:40 p.m. September 24 and 10:40 a.m. September 25). Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the special activations and pregame ceremonies planned for each of the three final home games of the regular season.

Earlier in the week, fans can also look forward to Vin Scully Bobblehead night presented by Mercedes-Benz Dealers of Southern California on Tuesday, September 20 (7:10 p.m. vs. Giants).
