CLEVELAND -- The Twins have six players headed to the Arizona Fall League to play for the Surprise Saguaros, including top shortstop prospect Nick Gordon.
Gordon, ranked as the No. 52 overall prospect by MLBPipeline.com, is hitting .296/.340/.393 with three homers, six triples, 22 doubles, 50 RBIs and 16 stolen bases in 111 games with Class A Advanced Fort Myers. Gordon, the son of Tom Gordon and the brother of Dee Gordon, was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 Draft and is the Twins' No. 2 ranked prospect.
Gordon will be joined by catcher Mitch Garver, outfielder Tanner English and pitchers Mason Melotakis, Randy Rosario and John Curtiss. Melotakis is the club's No. 22 prospect, while Garver is the organization's No. 24 prospect, per MLBPipeline.com. The Twins also have an open spot available to add a pitcher to the roster.
Garver, 25, is hitting .264/.335/.419 with 12 homers and 73 RBIs in 112 games between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Rochester. He's not on the 40-man roster, which is likely to cost him a chance to be a September callup.

English's season has been marred by injuries, as he's missed time with both a concussion and a sprained left thumb. The 23-year-old has been limited to 34 games between the Gulf Coast League and Class A Advanced Fort Myers, hitting .254/.372/.467 with five homers and 12 RBIs in 34 games.
Melotakis, who is coming off Tommy John surgery, has posted a 3.34 ERA with 41 strikeouts and 12 walks in 32 1/3 innings. The 25-year-old lefty is considered one of the club's top relief prospects.
Rosario, another hard-thrower like Melotakis, has split time between starting and relieving this year, making 16 starts and seven relief appearances. He's posted a 3.64 ERA with 71 strikeouts and 36 walks in 96 1/3 innings between Fort Myers and Double-A Chattanooga.
Curtis, 23, was moved to the bullpen this season, and responded by posting a 2.64 ERA with 82 strikeouts and 24 walks in 58 innings between Class A Cedar Rapids and Fort Myers.
