Dubon turned in his fourth multi-hit performance in his past five games on Friday night when he went 5-for-5 with three doubles and three runs scored for Double-A Portland. The 22-year-old shortstop has collected hits in seven straight at-bats and, overall, is raking at a .352 clip for the Sea Dogs, with 30 extra-base hits and 42 runs scored in 53 games.
Lamet will be making his Triple-A debut when he takes the mound for El Paso. The 24-year-old righty made quick work of the California League to earn an early-June promotion to Double-A San Antonio, where he posted a 3.39 ERA with 91 strikeouts in 74 1/3 frames (14 starts) and held opposing hitters to a .207 average. All together, Lamet pitched to a 2.91 ERA over 26 starts between the two stops, with 145 strikeouts and 57 walks in 139 1/3 innings.
Mahle is looking to get back on track after allowing five earned runs in consecutive starts for Double-A Pensacola. The 21-year-old right-hander had an excellent first half in the Florida State League, going 8-3 with a 2.50 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 79 1/3 innings (13 starts) for Class A Advanced Daytona, but he has been less consistent since joining Pensacola. In 12 starts for the Blue Wahoos, Mahle is 6-3 with a 4.55 ERA.
Peters excelled in his three starts for Double-A Jacksonville, going 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA in 17 2/3 innings. The 23-year-old left-hander has won eight straight starts between Jacksonville and Class A Advanced Jupiter, during which he's posted a 0.95 ERA across 47 1/3 frames. Overall, Peters has compiled 101 strikeouts against 20 walks in 123 2/3 innings (23 starts) while limiting opposing hitters to a .245 average and just three home runs.
