The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled RHP Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno and RHP Vicente Campos from Double-A Mobile and optioned RHP Dominic Leone and LHP Steve Hathaway to Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
Bracho, 24, has appeared in 36 games with the Aces in 2016, going 0-2 with 15 saves, a 4.81 ERA (18 ER in 33.2 IP) and 43 strikeouts (11.5 per 9.0 IP). He has also pitched in 15 games over 3 stints with the D-backs this season.
Campos, 24, was acquired from the New York Yankees on July 31 in exchange for RHP Tyler Clippard. He is 10-5 with a 3.26 ERA (51 ER in 141.0 IP) in 24 combined starts with Mobile, Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Double-A Trenton and Single-A Adv. Tampa.
Campos, who will wear No. 59 and has no Major League experience, has gone 34-25 with 3 saves and a 3.67 ERA (195 ER in 478.1 IP) in 108 games (91 starts) in the Yankees and D-backs' organizations.
Signed by the Mariners as a non-drafted free agent out of Venezuela in 2009, Campos was acquired by the Yankees, along with RHP Michael Pineda, in exchange for C/DH Jesus Montero and RHP Hector Noesi on January 23, 2012.
Leone, 24, has posted a 7.52 ERA (17 ER in 20.1 IP) in 20 appearances with Arizona in 2016.
Hathaway, 25, owns a 5.79 ERA (6 ER in 9.1 IP) in games in his first Major League season with the D-backs.
The D-backs' 40-man roster remains at 40.
