The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced today a special $19.71 ticket offer, presented by Iron City Beer, in celebration of the 1971 World Series Champion Pirates. This special offer is good for all three weekend games from Friday, September 2 thru Sunday, September 4 vs. the Milwaukee Brewers.
All fans can purchase individual tickets in the Outfield Grandstand or Outfield Reserved areas of PNC Park for just $19.71, a savings of up to $16.29 per ticket. Tickets are on sale now at pirates.com/1971.
The weekend includes special events surrounding each game as the Pirates look to honor the 1971 champs with promotions, pregame celebrations and more.
Friday, September 2 vs. Milwaukee Brewers (7:05 p.m.)
Friday is a Free Shirt Friday with the first 20,000 fans through the gates at PNC Park receiveing a special 1971-inspired tee, presented by FedEx Ground. This Friday's T-Shirt was chosen by fans during the Fan Vote promotion earlier in the year as fans had the opportunity to vote for their favorite 1971-themed tee design.
Saturday, September 3 vs. Milwaukee Brewers (7:05 p.m.)
Saturday the Pirates will host a special pregame on-field celebration honoring the 1971 World Championship team. In honor of the 1971 Champions, the Pirates will wear special 1971 uniforms for Saturday night's game. In addition, the first 20,000 fans take home a Pirates 1971-themed travel tumbler, presented by Dunkin' Donuts.
Sunday, September 4 vs. Milwaukee Brewers (1:35 p.m.) - Kid's Day
Sunday is Kid's Day at PNC Park and all fans 14 years of age and under through the gates at PNC Park will receive a 1971-logo flat bill snapback cap, presented by PPG.
