O's annual pet calendar set to go on sale

BALTIMORE -- The Orioles' eighth annual pet calendar will go on sale Saturday, with all proceeds benefiting the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), a nonprofit shelter that accepts and cares for all animals in need.

The ultra-popular calendar covers 16 months and includes photos of Orioles players with their pets and various BARCS animals at locations around Camden Yards.

This year's calendar features Brad Brach, Zach Britton, Dylan Bundy, Chris Davis, Ryan Flaherty, Kevin Gausman, Mychal Givens, J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones, Hyun Soo Kim, Manny Machado, Darren O'Day, Nolan Reimold, Joey Rickard, Chris Tillman, Matt Wieters and manager Buck Showalter.

The O's will also hold a special autograph signing on Saturday, with Gausman, Flaherty, Hardy, Kim, Tillman and Wieters appearing at BARCS (301 Stockholm Street, Baltimore, MD 21230) for from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. The event will be held prior to Saturday's game vs. the Astros (players are subject to change).

Fans who purchase a calendar can receive one autograph per person, and fans attending the event may park free in Lot J (adjacent to BARCS).

The 2017 calendar will be available for $15 at Oriole Park, the Orioles Team Store in the York Galleria in York, Pa., and at www.orioles.com/petcalendar.
