Royals-Twins series opener delayed by rain

MINNEAPOLIS -- The series opener between the Twins and Royals at Target Field was delayed by rain on Friday night. The clubs were aiming for an 8 p.m. CT start.

Minnesota's game on Wednesday against the Astros also was postponed because of rain at Target Field. The Twins lost both games of a split doubleheader on Thursday.
