MIAMI -- At 7:05 p.m. ET on Monday, Marlins ace Dontrelle Willis was throwing his first pitch against the Braves at Dolphin Stadium.
At about the same time, his wife, Natalee, was being admitted into a local hospital in preparation of delivering the couple's first child.
Natalee is being induced Monday night, and the baby is expected to be born sometime early Tuesday morning, giving Willis plenty of time to leave the ballpark to be with his wife for the delivery.
Family members are in town, and accompanied Natalee to the hospital.
