Rain delays Mariners-Cubs game in 7th

CHICAGO -- The Mariners-Cubs game on Friday was delayed in the middle of the seventh inning because of rain, with Chicago leading, 11-0. The estimated restart time is 5:10 p.m. CT.

Jason Heyward hit a two-run homer, David Ross added a solo shot, Anthony Rizzo hit a three-run double and Chris Coghlan had a two-run single for the Cubs and starter Jon Lester. Mariners starter Hisashi Iwakuma lasted three innings.

This is Seattle's second trip to Wrigley Field in franchise history and first since 2007.
