Dodger Wives And Girlfriends' Day of Service At Downtown Women's Center Tomorrow

LOS ANGELES - Wives and girlfriends of Dodger players, coaching staff and broadcasters will participate in a day of service tomorrow at the Downtown Women's Center, 442 S. San Pedro Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants include Morgan Bradley (girlfriend of Brett Anderson), Allie Coleman (wife of Louis Coleman), Cindy Ellis (wife of A.J. Ellis), Maggie Ethier (wife of Andre Ethier), Joan Fien (wife of Casey Fien), Betsy González (wife of Adrián González), Kimberly Seitler (girlfriend of Scott Kazmir), Ellen Kershaw (wife of Clayton Kershaw), Amanda McCarthy (wife of Brandon McCarthy), Kourtney Pogue (girlfriend of Justin Turner), Madisyn Van Ham (girlfriend of Corey Seager), Audrey Van Slyke (wife of Scott Van Slyke), Kelsey Williams (girlfriend of Joc Pederson), Tricia Roberts (wife of Dodger manager Dave Roberts) and Pamela Geren (wife of Dodger bench coach Bob Geren), Dana Hershiser (wife of Dodger broadcaster Orel Hershiser), Maggie Jarrín (wife of Dodger broadcaster Jorge Jarrín), Tiffany Akasaki (wife of Dodger Director of Team Travel Scott Akasaki) and Michele Smith (wife of Dodger Strength and Conditioning Coach Travis Smith).

Dodger wives and girlfriends will prepare and serve lunch to the homeless women of downtown Los Angeles at the Downtown Women's Center. Volunteers will also prepare snack packs, which include a main course, piece of fruit and a beverage which the women of the Downtown Women's Center will receive before leaving the shelter. Volunteers will also sort various in-kind donations the Downtown Women's Center receives daily.

The Downtown Women's Center provides permanent supportive housing and a safe and healthy community fostering dignity, respect and personal stability and advocates ending homelessness for women.
