Rangers to host A's and Royals during seven-game homestand, July 25-31

Michael Young Hall of Fame Induction takes place on July 31 with game time moved to 7:35 p.m.

The Texas Rangers return home to face the Oakland A's and Kansas City Royals in a seven-game homestand that begins on Monday, July 25.
 
The A's make their first of three appearances in the next nine weeks at Globe Life Park in Arlington with 7:05 p.m. games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 25-27. July 27 is Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Night and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday for youngsters 13 and under.
 
The 2015 World Champion Royals make their only regular season trip to Arlington with 7:05 p.m. games on Thursday and Friday, July 28-29 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, July 30 at 7:35 p.m., and Sunday, July 31 at 2:05 p.m. The first 10,000 fans entering the park on Thursday will receive a Papa John's Texas Rangers Throwback Thursday Collector Pin that depicts Kenny Rogers' perfect game on July 28, 1994. It is also University of Texas Night with new Longhorns Head Baseball Coach David Pierce scheduled to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Post-game fireworks sponsored by Sherwin Williams with karaoke music follow the game on July 29.
 
Infielder Michael Young, a seven-time All-Star and the team leader in numerous offensive categories, will be inducted as the 20th member of the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame in pre-game ceremonies on Saturday, July 30. The ceremony will begin at approximately 6:50 p.m. with first pitch of the Rangers-Royals game being moved to 7:35 p.m. A number of Rangers Hall of Famers will also be in attendance for the induction ceremony.
 
In addition, the first 15,000 fans, 14 years of age and older, will receive a Medical Center Arlington "Franchise Four" Quad Bobblehead, featuring Rangers legends Adrian Beltre, Ivan Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan, and Michael Young.
 
On Sunday, the first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Park get a Nitto Tire Green Dot Bobblehead, the second of the three Dot Bobblehead giveaways in 2016. July 31 is also Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday for youngsters 13 and under.
  
The 2016 Induction Weekend begins with the Dr Pepper Texas Rangers Hall of Fame Luncheon on Friday, July 29 at the Arlington Convention Center. The luncheon will honor the career of Michael Young with a number of his former teammates including Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Kevin Mench, David Murphy, and Darren Oliver participating in the program. In addition, Rangers Hall of Famer Eric Nadel will host a Conversation with Michael Young. A number of Rangers Hall of Famers and former Rangers are expected to be in attendance.
