  • Hiring Our Heroes: The Atlanta Braves have partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host the first ever Hiring Our Heroes sports expo in Atlanta this summer. Hiring Our Heroes is a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation which helps military veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment in a 21st century workforce.
    • The Hiring Our Heroes sports expo will take place at Turner Field on July 28 and include a Financial Well-Being Workshop and Employment Workshop provided by SunTrust and GE, respectively, as well as a hiring fair. Participants interested in attending the Hiring Our Heroes sports expo can register at www.hiringourheroes.org.
  • Cornhole Tournament: The Braves Cornhole Tournament takes place throughout the season. Each tournament qualifying round will begin at first pitch and take place on the Fan Plaza stage.   • Christmas in July party at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta: Atlanta Braves players and wives, along with front office staff, will visit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite on July 29 to distribute toys that were collected during the Braves Wives Toy Drive. The players and wives will spend time with patients during room visits, and later participate in a Christmas party in "The Zone."
  • Alumni Weekend: The 7th annual Alumni Weekend welcomes Braves legends back to Turner Field for a weekend of fan interaction.
    • On Friday, July 29, fans can visit various stations set up around the ballpark for alumni autographs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The Braves will also honor alumni with a pregame ceremony beginning at 7 p.m.
  • Georgia Southern Day: The Braves welcome Eagle Nation to Turner Field as part of the University Days series. Ticket package purchasers will receive a Braves-GSU branded hat, as well as the opportunity to meet the new University President Jaimie L. Hebert, Ph.D., Head Football Coach Tyson Summers, Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein and many more.   • Friday Night Fireworks presented by Georgia Lottery: Fans will be treated to a dazzling display of fireworks over Turner Field following every Friday home game throughout the season.

    • On Saturday, July 30, the Braves Legends softball game will take place from 5:15-6:30 p.m. Fans can arrive early to watch the alumni take batting practice from 4:30-5:10 p.m.
  • 1991 "Worst-to-First" NLCS Replica Ring presented by NAPA Auto Parts: The first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a 1991 NLCS replica ring presented by NAPA Auto Parts.

  • Band of the Year: Millennial will play a pregame show in Fan Plaza. This band was selected to participate in a season-long competition, and following the 2016 season, one band will be named the Atlanta Braves Band of the Year.
  • School Supplies Drive presented by Arrow Exterminators: The Atlanta Braves and Arrow Exterminators are teaming up to collect school supplies for children in need across the Atlanta area. To donate, fans can visit Monument Grove from the time gates open until the end of the first inning. From 6-6:30 p.m., fans who donate a minimum value of $10 in supplies will receive an autograph from Braves players Chase d'Arnaud and Brandon Snyder.   • School Supplies Drive presented by Arrow Exterminators: The Atlanta Braves and Arrow Exterminators are teaming up to collect school supplies for children in need across the Atlanta area. To donate, fans can visit Monument Grove from the time gates open until the end of the first inning.   • Firefighter Appreciation Day: The Braves will celebrate the third annual Firefighter Appreciation Day on July 31.
