LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled infielder Charlie Culberson from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed right-handed pitcher Chris Hatcher on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique.
This will be Culberson's second stint with the big league club after making the Dodgers' Opening Day roster. He appeared in 15 games with Los Angeles, batting .259 (7-for-27) with two doubles and four RBI, before being optioned on May 18. In 46 games with Triple-A OKC this season, he's hitting .289 with 13 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 19 RBI.
Hatcher, 31, has gone 5-4 with a 5.53 ERA (25 ER/40.2 IP) in 37 relief appearances for the Dodgers this season. Hatcher is the 22nd different Dodger to be placed on the disabled list this year.
