Nominations are now being accepted for the Colorado Rockies 14th annual Adult Leadership Award

Deadline for nominations is Aug. 1, 2016

The Colorado Rockies are currently accepting nominations for the 2016 Adult Leadership Award, to be presented in September in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month at Coors Field. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 1, 2016. Nomination packets may be obtained online at or by calling (303) ROCKIES. This season marks the 14th year that the Rockies organization has honored exceptional youth and adult leaders in the Hispanic community.
In September, the Rockies will honor individual award nominees with pregame on-field ceremonies at Coors Field, culminating on Saturday, September 17 when the overall winner will be announced.
The Colorado Rockies Adult Leadership Award was created 14 years ago and it continues to be an impactful way for the organization to recognize individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the Hispanic community through community involvement, the promotion of family values and personal achievements. Eligible recipients are Colorado residents who are actively involved in the Hispanic community, but they need not be Hispanic themselves. The overall award winner will receive 2017 Rockies Season Tickets and have their name added to a plaque displayed inside Coors Field's Gate C (first base) entrance.
