Phillies Weekend Ballpark Buzz: Top 5 Things to Know for Mets Series (July 15-17)

This weekend, the Phillies return from the All-Star break to host the New York Mets at Citizens Bank Park (July 15-17). Below are some of the must-know highlights when coming to the ballpark.

1. Frank Sinatra Centennial Birthday Salute & Bobble at Friday's Fiat Italian Heritage Celebration.

On Friday, July 15, fans will be treated to the 9th annual Fiat Italian Heritage Celebration at Citizens Bank Park. Highlights include traditional Italian food, live music and dancing. Opera Philadelphia will perform 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Left Field Gate. On-field fun features Frank Sinatra impersonator Rich DeSimone, who will perform in honor of Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. Plus, the Phanatic will be escorted onto the field by a Fiat 500c.

The first 2,000 fans to purchase tickets through this Theme Night Ticket promotion will receive a coupon for a limited edition Phillies Frank Sinatra Bobblehead.

Ashburn Alley opens at 5:05 p.m., all gates open at 5:35 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The game will be presented on NBC10, MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP.

2. Get here early on Saturday, go onto the field and take a #selfie with players at Phillies Photo Day! Plus, all kids get a W.B. Mason Collectible Truck giveaway.

Fan-favorite Photo Day returns Saturday, July 16. Get to the ballpark early as fans are invited onto the field (limited field access) to take photos with players, broadcasters, the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls and more!

Plus, all kids 14 and under will receive a W.B. Mason Collectible Truck.

All gates open at 5:05 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The game will be presented on NBC10, MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP.

3. Celebrate Sunday phun-day with a PECO Galapagos Gang Beach Towel giveaway! Plus, autograph signing with the illustrator of the Phillie Phanatic's children's book series.

On Sunday, July 17, all kids 14 & under will receive a PECO Galapagos Gang Beach Towel.

Also happening at Citizens Bank Park, Len Epstein, Phanatic Illustrator, will be signing copies of the Phillie Phanatic's children's book series from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. behind Section 111 on the main concourse.

While on the main concourse, stop by the Phillies Charities, Inc. silent auction at the First Base Gate Plaza and bid on exclusive signed and game-used merchandise before and during the game.

All gates open at 11:35 a.m. Game time is 1:35 p.m. The game will be presented on Comcast SportsNet, MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP.

4. Country star David Nail to perform Sunday.

Also on Sunday, July 17, MCA Nashville recording artist David Nail will be performing God Bless America in the 7th inning.

5. Head to XFINITY Live! for Post-Game Specials. Sunday features a Post-Game Party with special Phillies guests Gary Matthews and Mickey Morandini!

After EVERY game, the fun continues with XFINITY Live! Post-Game Specials, available one hour immediately following the game.

Following Sunday's game, July 17, XFINITY Live! will host a Phillies Post-Game Party at 1100 Social, featuring special appearances by Phillies' Gary "Sarge" Matthews and Mickey Morandini, as well as prize drawings.
