Yankees return to Yankee Stadium for 10-game homestand

Highlights include Military Appreciation Day, the continuation of a Yankee Stadium Concert Series and ticket specials on five dates

The New York Yankees will return home tonight for the first of 10 games at Yankee Stadium. The stretch will feature a three-game series vs. David Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox (Friday-Sunday, July 15-17), a four-game set vs. Manny Machado and the Baltimore Orioles (Monday-Thursday, July 18-21) and a three-game series vs. Buster Posey and the San Francisco Giants (Friday-Sunday, July 22-24).
 
The Yankees will pay tribute to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the United States Armed Forces by hosting Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 23. Ceremonies will begin approximately at 3:00 p.m., prior to the scheduled 4:05 p.m. game vs. the Giants. As part of the festivities, the Gold Team of the United States Army Golden Knights will parachute into Yankee Stadium. 
 
Following the jump, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and a Gold Star family will be recognized in a special home plate ceremony and a group of future soldiers will be sworn in on-field. Also taking part in the day's ceremonies will be United States Army Special Operations Command Lieutenant General Kenny Tovo - who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch; country music recording artist and former Army Ranger, Keni Thomas - who will sing the national anthem; and United States Navy Petty Officer Yarrick Connor - who will sing God Bless America.
 
The Hard Rock Cafe presents Little Steven's Underground Garage Concert Series, powered by JBL will continue in the Pepsi Food Court on the third-base side of the Field Level on Friday, July 15, with Jeremy and the Harlequins, and on Friday, July 22, with Soraia. The performances will take place from 5:00-6:00p.m., respectively. Admission to the pregame concert is included with a Guests' valid game ticket for that date. Ticket specials will run on Monday, July 18 (Military Personnel Game), Tuesday, July 19 (Military Personnel Game), Wednesday, July 20 (Military Personnel and Student Game), Thursday, July 21 (MasterCard Half-Price, Military Personnel, Senior Citizen and Youth Game) and Saturday, July 23 (Military Personnel Game).

Saturday, July 23 - Yankees vs. Giants, 4:05 p.m.

  • Camo Baseball Cap Day, presented by Budweiser, to the first 18,000 Guests in attendance, 21 and older.
