Mariners announce three more draft pick signings

Nine of top 10, 17 of top 20 and 25 of 40 total draft picks have signed professional contracts

Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Tom McNamara announced today that the club has signed three additional players from the 2016 Draft. With these signings, 25 of the club's 40 selections from the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft are now under contract.
The 25 signed players include 9 of the top 10 selections and 17 of the top 20. All Major League teams have until July 15, 2016 (2 pm PT) to sign drafted players with remaining college eligibility.
Signings announced today include the team's 15th (Danny Garcia), 19th (DeAirs Moses) and 34th (David Ellingson) selections.
The Mariners selected 19 pitchers, including 6 left-handers, 4 catchers, 8 infielders (1 2B, 4 SS, 3 3B), and 9 outfielders. Seattle selected 29 college players and 11 high school players.
