Tigers on the mound: Former Braves farmhand Zach Miner allowed two earned runs and five hits in three innings, and Chad Durbin allowed two earned runs and three hits in his three frames.

Grapefruit League records: Tigers 12-7-1; Braves 9-7-2.

Up next: Lefty Chuck James will start for the Braves on Monday, when they host the Indians at 1:05 p.m. ET.
