Marlins honor Orlando victims at Marlins Park

MIAMI -- Before Friday night's game against the Rockies at Marlins Park, the Marlins joined all Major League clubs and held a moment of silence for the victims of Sunday's mass shooting in Orlando.

In addition, the Marlins will donate proceeds of the Marlins Foundation's 50/50 raffle on Friday and Saturday to the Florida Disaster Fund, which financially aids organizations serving the survivors and their families.

The proceeds from ticket packages for July 9's Pride at the Park special event at Marlins Park will also be donated to the fund.
