The Chicago White Sox have partnered with Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (ISFA), Northern Illinois University and the University of Toledo to offer fans special pre-sale opportunities for the "Huskie Chi-Town Showdown" football game at U.S. Cellular Field. The game on November 9 marks the first time a football game will be played in the ballpark's 25-year history.
Prior to the general on-sale date, special pre-sale tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, June 16, through 11:59 p.m. CT on Monday,
June 20, for premium seating ticket holders, season ticket holders, group customers, Black List members, Sox Pride Club members and White Sox Ticketmaster subscribers.
All fans still have the opportunity to join the Sox Pride Club - the official online fan club of the White Sox - at soxprideclub.com. Fans may become members of the Black List -- the free and official whitesox.com e-mail fan resource for the latest Sox information -- at no charge by visiting whitesox.com/blacklist. Fans must sign up for either list by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, to be eligible for the pre-sale.
Tickets to the Huskie Chi-Town Showdown game were available for purchase as early as February 2016 through the six-game NIU football season ticket packages. These packages can be purchased online at NIUHuskies.com, at the NIU Convocation Center Ticket Office in DeKalb or by calling 815-753-7225. Single game tickets will be available for $45, $55 and $65, beginning August 1. NIU students will be admitted free with their OneCard and can purchase student guest tickets for $22. A pre-sale offer for NIU season ticket holders and Huskie Athletic Fund donors began on April 4.
