Twins Complete 2016 First-Year Player Draft

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected 30 additional players on the third and final day of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft to bring their three-day total to 42 players. In all, the Twins have drafted 14 right-handed pitchers, three left-handed pitchers, nine infielders, 10 outfielders and six catchers in the First-Year Player Draft. Of the 42 total players selected, 31 were drafted out of college and 11 out of high school.
