Marlins announce new digital flex pass

New smartphone-based ticket plan aimed at attracting flexibility-loving Fish fans

The Marlins today announced the launching of the Marlins Digital Flex Pass, a new 20-ticket smartphone-based program intended to attract today's digitally-savvy Fish fan. Sold in a bundle of 20 passes, each pass can be used for entry into any remaining Marlins home game in the 2016 regular season, and the plan is priced at less than $10 a pass. The program is completely paperless and operates exclusively within the official app of Marlins Park, the MLB.com Ballpark app.

"People today are busier than ever and require flexibility with their entertainment purchases," said Ryan McCoy, Marlins Vice President of Sales & Service. "The Marlins Digital Flex Pass serves to provide ultimate flexibility in an all-mobile environment for all of the digitally-savvy Marlins fans in the South Florida area."

This ticket program costs $199 for 20 passes. As part of the package, fans can use multiple passes for an individual game or one pass at a time for 20 different games. Fans can activate the passes via their mobile device all the way up until first pitch of each game. Seat location is guaranteed to be within the first two levels of the ballpark and will vary for each game based on availability, providing different views of the action each game.
