Hill, 36, lost his first start of the month, a 2-1 defeat to the Astros in which he allowed two runs in six innings. He followed that up with 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball against the Orioles before turning in four consecutive quality starts, highlighted by eight scoreless innings against Seattle on May 23.

This is Hill's first career monthly honor.
