Indians Wives Association to hold to auctions benefiting Cleveland Indians Charities - 'Position Group Baskets' and 'Shirts Off The Players' Backs' this weekend

The Cleveland Indians Wives Association will hold its second annual Wives Fundraising Weekend from Friday to Sunday as the Indians take on Kansas City at Progressive Field.

The events include:

Position Group Baskets Auction: Friday
This auction will offer fans the chance to win a basket of unique Tribe player items. There will be five baskets total, each one featuring items from each position group - outfielders, infielders, starting pitchers, bullpen pitchers and coaches. Items include autographed gloves, baseball bats, baseballs, shoes, etc.

Players' Shirts Off Their Backs Auction: Saturday
Fans can bid on jerseys worn by each Tribe player in Friday's game against the Royals. Jerseys will be autographed and authenticated.

"LOVE" Signs Raffle: Friday-Sunday
This raffle offers fans the chance to win a wooden "LOVE" sign with the "O" being the shape of the state of Ohio. There will be five signs total - each one painted by the wives and signed by a position group - outfielders, infielders, starting pitchers, bullpen pitchers and coaches. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5.

Mystery Balls: Friday-Saturday
Baseballs signed by Tribe players will be sold Friday-Sunday. Fans can purchase a Mystery Ball for $40 or purchase a specific ball for $80 while supplies last.

The events annually raise tens of thousands of dollars for Cleveland Indians Charities, and will take place from the time gates open through the seventh inning each day. The auctions will take place outside Section 156, next to the Home Plate Club.
