Cleveland Indians players Lindor, Carrasco, Kluber, Napoli take part in community outreach events next week

Tribe players get involved during club's long homestand

Cleveland Indians players Francisco Lindor, Carlos Carrasco, Corey Kluber and Mike Napoli will take part in community outreach events next week during the team's 10-game homestand.

The events include:

Monday, May 30 - Lindor Smile Squad: Tribe shortstop Francisco Lindor will host special guests from a local Miracle League during batting practice.

Tuesday, May 31 - Carrasco Book Drive: Carlos Carrasco will visit Cleveland Public Library's Fulton branch as a launch event for his annual Carrasco Book Drive, this year in conjunction with United Way's Stuff the Bus campaign. He'll read a book in Spanish to a class of 3-5-year-olds.

Wednesday, June 1 - Kluber's Kids, Klubers visit Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center:

  • Cleveland Indians to host Kluber's Kids, presented by Cleveland Clinic Children's, during batting practice
    • When: 3-4PM on warning track near Indians dugout
  • Corey, Amanda Kluber to visit Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center
    • When: 10AM-Noon
    • Where: Louis Stokes VA, 10701 East Blvd.

Thursday, June 2 - Napoli hosting kids: Mike Napoli to host up to 20 guests from the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital during batting practice.

  • When: 4-5PM during on-field BP
