A limited number of tickets are still available for the Astros Foundation's fourth annual Picnic In The Park fundraising event, presented by Wells Fargo, on Sunday, Father's Day, June 19. This popular fundraiser, which gives fans the rare opportunity to spend an afternoon on the outfield grass at Minute Maid Park, will feature 2016 Astros players, alumni and members of the Astros front office. All proceeds from the charitable event will benefit the Astros Foundation and its cornerstone youth baseball programs. Tickets are on sale now but have been going quickly, so fans are encouraged to reserve their tickets as soon as possible.
Fans will once again be treated to an hour-long autograph session with Astros players, a picnic buffet, activities for families and children of all ages and a complimentary picnic mat and commemorative T-shirt.
This year, fans have the option to choose between two ticket packages. The On Deck Package includes admission to Picnic In The Park, a ticket to the Astros 1:10 p.m. game vs. the Cincinnati Reds, buffet lunch, picnic mat, Picnic In The Park T-shirt and an Astros logo baseball. The Home Run Express Package includes everything from the On Deck Package as well as an exclusive buffet area, Autograph Fast Pass for first-in-line privileges and a Picnic In The Park soft cooler.
Picnic In The Park begins approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of Sunday's 1:10 p.m. game. Children two years of age or younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Youth tickets are available for fans 3-14 years old, and must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Fans 15 years of age or older require an adult ticket. All tickets must be purchased in advance and are limited in availability, so fans are encouraged to purchase their Picnic In The Park tickets early.
