Seattle Mariners Spring Training credential information

Dear Friends of the Mariners:

It is time to switch gears and start thinking about Spring Training. With pitchers and catchers reporting on February 14, less than a month away, we are focusing our attention on preparations.

To help in our organizational process, as early as possible we would like to get a list from the Sports Directors faxed to us on letterhead, laying out who is traveling to Arizona to cover the Mariners this Spring. Heightened security measures have dictated that we get detailed specifications of who is coming down, when, and the length of their stay. This information will also help us assure that credentials will be waiting for your staff when they arrive in Peoria.

As you may recall from last Spring, MLB requires each news organization's Sport Editor or Sport Director to sign off on the Terms and Conditions of Credentials before we can issue a credential to anyone member of your organization. In an effort to simplify distribution, please sign attached credential language and return it to our office. We hope that this will allow us to be more effective and organized in having credentials ready for individuals when they arrive in Peoria.

The Mariners Baseball Information Department will be departing for Peoria Monday, February 12, before that date all faxes can be sent to (206) 346-4400. After February 12, they can be faxed directly to our offices in Peoria at (623) 776-4829.

As always, if you have further questions or need additional information please do not hesitate to contact our office at (206) 346-4000.

Thanks,
Tim Hevly
Director - Baseball Information
