D-backs' Tomas battling stiff neck

ATLANTA -- D-backs outfielder Yasmany Tomas has been out of the lineup for the past two games due to a stiff neck.

Arizona manager Chip Hale said the injury prevented Tomas from even taking batting practice before Friday night's game, but that he was available off the bench that night "in an emergency."

Tomas was scheduled to take batting practice Saturday and Hale said he thinks Tomas will be back in the lineup perhaps as soon as Sunday.
